Islamists riot across Italy ?
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has repeatedly stated that Italy will not recognize a Palestinian state before it is formally established. This stance sets Italy apart from some other European countries that have recently announced their intention to recognize Palestinian statehood.
The demonstrations, organized by Italian unions and other groups, included clashes with police but were focused on demanding action from the Italian government regarding the war in Israel.
