District, will host a press conference Friday, May 18, 2023 at 9:00AM demanding to know why Democratic
Councilman Justin Brannan voted to give the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice (“MOCJ”) the authority to
review people in custody of the Department of Corrections (“DOC”) and have sole determination if they
should be released back into the community.
