Welcome Care home care agency, a prominent 23-years-old health care company, hosted its First Community Welcome Health Fair in Bensonhurst and honored its best and longest serving home care workers.

Welcome Care Vice President Svetlana Berlin, Director of Operations Zina Bubis and Public Affairs Director Ari Kagan praised honorees for their important hard work, dedication and care for seniors, people with disabilities and children with autism. Every honoree received a special gift basket, Certificate of Appreciation and bonuses from Welcome Care.

Senator Steve Chan and Assemblyman Alec Brook-Krasny presented home care workers Ana Cabral Rosario, Bertha Jean Baptiste, Marika Kiria, Lilia Veretchak, Jasmine Nunez and Leviza Mazinova with Certificates of Recognition.

All honorees expressed their gratitude for this tremendous recognition and thanked Welcome Care and elected officials for appreciating their work.

Nurses from South Brooklyn Health hospital checked blood pressure and provided valuable advice to many health fair attendees. Representatives from ElderServe, Fidelis Care, Prime Home Health Services and other health care institutions answered questions from the audience.

Master of Ceremony of the event, former Councilman Ari Kagan thanked Lina Chen, CEO of Health Essential Association, for the incredible hospitality, and many community leaders for joining this great health fair.
